Animation of a poem written by Shirley Camia, from her book Mercy, written following the death of her mother. Funded by the Canadian Arts Council, this collaborative film, with music from composer Kat Estacio, is inspired by videos created by Filipinx artists of the diaspora who integrate their cultural heritage into their work. The animation describes the religious tradition of the Novena prayer after a person has passed away.
